EV - Battery Pack Design

Spark the future of electric vehicles! Dive into our EV Battery Pack Design Online Course, where you’ll master the art of creating efficient, high-performance battery packs, propelling you to the forefront of sustainable transportation design.

About the Training

The "Battery Pack Design for xEVs" course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, considerations, and techniques involved in designing battery packs for electric vehicles (xEVs). The course will cover various aspects of battery pack design, including battery technologies, pack integration, safety considerations, performance optimization, and practical applications.

  1. The course aims to provide the guidelines for designing a battery pack system and also how a battery pack can be packaged into the electric or hybrid vehicle of an original equipment manufacturer.
  2. The course is also designed in such a way that it lays the foundation for the electric vehicle battery systems and also provide candidates with various different information to assist in developing a robust battery system
  3. At the end of the course, you will be able to understand different battery cell chemistries suitable for EV applications.
  4. You will also be able to understand the criteria for selecting and sizing of the battery cells for these electric and hybrid vehicle applications, you will also compare different batteries with respect to safety and other performance requirements.
  5. You will also understand the importance of mechanical packaging and electrical packaging in a battery pack, the various battery pack design considerations especially related to thermal management.
  6. This course also has lot of details on application of adhesives, sealants and various other heat transfer materials that are applied in the battery pack and are used in electric vehicle applications today.
  7. This course also covers various international standards related to the battery pack which are used for electric vehicle applications.
  8. And beyond all these things you will also understand the design considerations for recycling and reuse of battery pack components.
  9. And at the end of the course, you will also have some case studies of some battery packs from real life examples from some OEMs.
  10. You will also get an idea on some recent innovations that are happening in the area of battery pack design.
  11. And finally, we will also discuss about the technology road map of the battery packed technology, how it is going to evolve for the next coming years, what are all the various new technologies which are coming up.
  12. We believe this course gives you a whole idea about a battery pack system of electric vehicles altogether.
